Here’s a simple practice for today: ask your body what do you need right now? Whether it’s a deep breath, a stretch, or just a moment of stillness, tuning into our bodies helps bring us back to the present. ✨

Over the past several days, I’ve noticed something striking.
In random conversations, client sessions, and moments of reflection, one theme kept surfacing: the deep, unspoken need for the validation of our mothers.
It felt like an unmistakable sign, a voice in me saying, “More people need to hear this. More need to work through this.”
That’s why I’m feeling deeply called to take this first month of fall to dive into the grief that often goes unaddressed—not just the usual kinds, but the grief of unmet validation from our mothers. This workshop will explore how this unspoken grief affects so many of us, shaping how we seek approval from others.
Note: This workshop is an addition, not a replacement, to this month’s Coffee Workshop, which is still happening! We’ll be at the gym in collaboration with a naturopath specializing in women 40+, discussing perimenopause and how we can step into our role as the CEOs of our lives. 🌿 more on this to come, for now save the date October 16th.
Online Workshop: Grieving the Validation of Our Mothers
Who knew this is something we grieve?
So many of us carry a hidden grief, one that’s not about loss in the usual sense but about something deeper—the need for validation from our mothers. Whether it’s approval, acceptance, or love, this unfulfilled longing can shape our entire lives, even if we don’t realize it. In this workshop, we’ll unpack that grief, understand its impact, and start the process of healing and letting go.
This is an opportunity to acknowledge what we’ve been holding onto and begin to reclaim our own sense of self, free from the need for external validation.
This workshop is all about letting go of the need for approval or validation we may still carry from our mothers or mother figures. We’ll dive into the emotions that come with that, create space to grieve, and begin the healing process. 🌱
